GearPhy (“we”, “us”) provides a garage management app, API, and this website. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit gearphy.com, create an account, or contact us at support@gearphy.com.

Information we collect
Account data such as name, email, phone, and workshop profile. Operational data you enter in the app — customers, vehicles, jobs, inventory, invoices, and payments — is stored for your garage only. Website contact forms collect the details you submit. Device and usage data (app version, crash logs, approximate region) help us keep the product reliable.

How we use it
We use this information to provide the service, bill subscriptions, send transactional messages, improve reliability, and reply to support requests. We do not sell workshop customer lists. We do not use your garage’s customer data to market unrelated products.

Workshop tenancy
Business records belong to the garage (tenant) that created them. Staff only see what their role allows. GearPhy operators may access tenant data to provide support, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

Sharing
We use processors that help us run the product — hosting, email, crash reporting, and payment (for example Razorpay for subscriptions). They receive only what they need to perform that work. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention
We keep account and workshop data while the garage is active and for a limited period after closure or deletion so we can complete billing, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You can request account deletion from app settings or by emailing us.

Security
Production traffic uses HTTPS. API access is authenticated and scoped to the selected workshop. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work to protect data with access controls and monitoring.

Your choices
You may correct profile details in the app, control notification preferences, and request a copy or deletion of your account. Workshop owners control staff seats and garage settings, including deleting the garage.

Children
GearPhy is a business product. It is not directed at children under 18.
